Chaz Thorne, MBA

COMPETITIVE & ORGANIZATIONAL STRATEGY

Chaz is a master strategist and best-selling author who has helmed multimillion-dollar companies in entertainment, technology, and agri-tech. He has created fundraising and awareness strategies for over 32 non-profits ranging in size from $150k/yr. to $180m/yr. (United Way Toronto, War Child, Diabetes Canada, Right to Play, Habitat for Humanity, Outward Bound). Select corporate strategy clients include Sun Life, GFL, Weston Foods, Algoma Central, and Stantec.

An MBA graduate of both the Kellogg School of Management and Schulich School of Business, Chaz is a Certified Professional Facilitator (IAF), a certified Solution-Focused Coach (Erickson, ICF) and a Certified Sales Professional (CPSA).

L. Paul MacInnis, BA

MONETIZATION & PRODUCT STRATEGY

A seasoned veteran of event production, online course production and workshop design, Paul has worked with world-class inspirational speakers to inspire personal and social change through live events, workshops, retreats, digital products and traditional publishing.

His work has taken him across the world, with collaborators including Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Elizabeth Gilbert, Gabrielle Bernstein, Dr. William Davis, and many more.

He has also developed corporate activation campaigns (Saltwire, RBC, TD, BMO) and non-profit fundraising and events through several years of work with Bridgeway Academy and Centre for Suicide Prevention.

Christel LeBlanc, MDes

BRAND & DESIGN STRATEGY

Christel is a designer, artist and teacher who specializes in branding and communication design for businesses, research institutes and non-profits. She has since worked with hundreds of clients including Dalhousie University's Ocean Tracking Network and MEOPAR, Mindful Magazine, WWF Canada, UK-based Privacy International, the Halifax Women's History Society, the Nova Scotia Nature Trust, St Mary's University, University of King's College, the Avalon Sexual Assault Centre and many independent artists, filmmakers, health practitioners, farmers and social activists. 

She graduated from NSCAD University's Master of Design program in 2010 and has taught in NSCAD's Division of Design since 2012.

Mike Maloney, BA BPR

PR & MEDIA RELATIONS STRATEGY

Mike is an award-winning PR and marketing communications strategist who’s helped amplify some of North America’s best-known brands. Working both independently and with agencies across Canada and the United States, Mike has secured millions of dollars’ worth of coverage in top-tier media outlets such as the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Wall St. Journal, National Post, and virtually every major network in Canada and the US. More locally, he’s served three years as the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation’s PR strategist and spokesperson, transforming their brand as a local champion and winning an international award for crisis management. With his knack for storytelling and creative pitching, he’s become a go-to resource for journalists and organizations alike.

Anne Bérubé, PhD

LEADERSHIP

Anne is a powerful teacher with an uncommon ability to share her story and insights in a way that awakens the inner wisdom in others. Her formal education includes a PhD from Université Bordeaux 3 in French Literature. Anne also studied Vedic wisdom at the Chopra Centre; was initiated into Huna by Hawaiian Kahuna Laura Kealoha Yardley.

Through her The Happy Sessions workshops, she has refined the process of Be Feel Think Do and has helped hundreds of individuals discover an inner freedom and a connection to their own unique source of sustainable happiness. Anne’s book Be Feel Think Do: A Memoir was published by Hay House and has been on multiple best-seller lists.
